Marty did get the shaft I completely hate what happened, but there was more behind the scenes with him getting fired I think. Im not a coach fan, SO I could care less, I didn't think Norv Turner was that great a choice with his track record... but the bolts are in the AFC championship game.... so I can live with it, Marty ball will be alive once again somewhere id say soon.

After the Dallas and Giants game...a thought came to mind. Way back when Parcells left, the 'Boys made a choice that essentially decided that Romo and TO was better for the boys than Parcells...and they preceeded to try to fill his shoes with an ex-head coach who was working as a coordinator and had never won a playoff game. And he still hasn't..with a team that was one more year advanced and gelled than when Parcells last coached them. But, did ANYONE expect a playoff win from Wade Phillips?????...seriously. Think about it...Great and even Good coaches usually don't have to work as a coordinator after their first head coaching spot (Landry, Johnson, Madden, Lomabrdi, Gibbs, Holmgren, Belicheck, etc)..doing so is a demotion and pretty good proof that the coach isn't quite good enough to be more than a coordinator (Bugel, Phillips, Turner etc). Truth's the truth...dallas's ship has only BEGAN to sink. As for the rest of the playoffs....either GB or NY is where my hopes lie.

He stumbled into a great coach in Johnson...and Switzer inherited that team. Parcells was turning around the mess in big D...(and he knows how to turn teams around...see NYG, NYJ, and NE) until everyone decided to go down on TO and Romo and alienate the coach. They got exactly what they deserved, and I hope they keep gettin it. BTW, Bradshaw's run down to the 1 was prolly the hardest nosed run I've seen in a while.

I agree with you. Jones has alot more money that patience. Jimmy left despising the guy. Hope Julius gets out of that dump soon.

I wonder where Julius will end up next year. I think this is his final year of his contract.
